I like many kind of cookie, but my forever favorite is butter cookie. So, let's bake some! :D
This time I tried circular prep. board for the cookie, doesn't look bad to me. I also tried making spilled egg on the prep. board. lol I will try again for my next egg-related prep. board. ;)
Thinking of food set as combination between flower and fruit and edible things and eye consumable. I, in general, like colorful mini-food. Together with chocolate, color of other food are brighter and that make the food 'colorful' and 'spicy' for eyes. Soft, pastel color are warm and sweet. *^^*Sweet/dessert and bakery making sites are my real inspiration and other mini-artisans' works spiced up my mini-making eagerness yet... I'm a bit too lazy after these holiday and vacation. *blush*
What would you like to eat after Christmas and New Year food? Something a bit different, tasty and yum? :) I do agree!
Here I made a new food prep board, chicken curry puff. You can add other ingredient(s) as you like to make the puff tasty or spicy. I kinda like mild taste of chicken curry puff and not so spicy. Hmmmm... ;)
One thing I like about making miniature is to make something new even if often that I came up with totally no idea about what to make. I may like things and want to make what other miniature artisan(s) made but, to give respect to friends who are in the same field of 'work' I try not to do so. And try new things bring me great fun and good feeling.

Between cupcakes I made a pie preparation board. And yes, making pie not baking pie. :P Was thinking about some certain type of pie for the prep. board but, I finally changed my mind. It's more fun letting others use their imagination. One may like blueberry-lemon cream pie while another would like it to be strawberry-banana or maybe other kind of pie. :)
After all, I wonder if I'm trying to make this a pie prep. board or a cheese cake prep. board... hm... :P
After a long time of disappearance, I didn't go anywhere really. Was haunting around with my mini-obsession as usual, the only difference was that I can't access to internet. Life! Anyway, I'm back now! :D Healthy? No idea, but happy and in good mood. Things to do and so little time a day... I'm getting back to my flower and veggie works again. Winter is coming and soon some of my fav. fruits will over. Made a fruit board for this summer remembrance... Till then... :)
After all from my new clay play experiment, I made a fridge magnet using my own sand clay recipe. I think the result came out quite good.
Like many other who 'play' with clay and experiment on their own clay, the recipes available online are great guideline to start with. I did not follow strictly with the amount/quantity of each ingredient. I just adjust the ingredient until I got clay texture I like. :D
On this experiment, I tried the fine sand instead of cornstarch and 'played around' a bit. The dried sand clay gives nice color with 'rough' texture appearance, but the real texture is nice and fine. I also love the color of the clay. :)
Something different! :D I decided to tried mini food sets out. The concept was a set of food for one person ready to serve on a wooden tray. They came out quite nicely! The dishes and plates are not glue to the tray so, you can re-arrange them as you like. Isn't it fun to be able to 'play' quite a bit? ;)
Pies are one of those beautiful and delicious pastries. I always dream of having a mini-bakery shop full with breads, buns and fresh baked pies.
I started to make mini-pie seriously at the end of last year. My first pie was cherry pie and then, key lime pie, peach pie, lemon cream pie, spinach pie, blueberry cream pie, blueberry pie (with pie crust), strawberry pie and meringue pie respectively. I still practicing making pies and would love to try other kind of pie. Some of them I sliced one piece out to show the inner part. Actually, the meringue is also with inside part which can be sliced out but, I don't want to slice it out afraid of destroying the meringue. Perhaps I should try it once...
My favorite mini-pies are cherry pie and peach pie yet, meringue pie is fun to make. :)
It's Valentine's Day! Is there only love in the air? *sniff around* Some doubt. :P
Smell the sweetness of fresh baked chocolate cake. Hm... yum... "Bitter sweet" no need to say anything else more. Well, I love milk chocolate so, there is more sweet than bitter. hehehehe
This mini-cake is just perfect for my Valentine's Day. The components are represent love and only love. ;) Chocolate (bitter sweet), strawberry (sweet & sour), flowers (beauty) and leaves (freshness). I'm so proud of myself! LOL Kidding!
Well, I think If you stay positive, you can think about anything in good way, I'm certain! And I'm trying and learning to be on positive side. It's easier to make our own life happy than let others do. :)

1. Display them regular way with your miniature collection or in dolls house
2. Use them as ornament to decorate your place that you, your friend and family can see them more often!
3. Alternative way, make them jewelry (pin, ring, brooch, charm, pendant, earrings, hair clip, etc.) and wear them to party, lunch, dinner with your folks!
Moreover, you can give these mini-jewelry to people in your life even if they do not collect miniature or doll house and they can use/make used of them! One benefit of the miniature jewelry are that they are handmade so, you will get unique, OOAK item, no 'twins'.
Is your friend on diet and her birthday is coming closer? A miniature cake pendant weight a few gram yet, zero calories! Looking for a special Valentine's gift for your girlfriend? A pair of miniature red rose earring would be perfect! And if you do not like rose, you can select other kind of flower to tell her how much you love her, each flower has different meaning...
