Miniature Burn Out
After quite a long a while with full time work together with miniatures and clay play stuff as my daily basis. I finally burned out. *crying* It was a lot easier and with lots of fun, new ideas and such.
Am I at the edge of my joyful clay play?
I don't think so and I wish not so too.
I'm giving myself some time off from the clay play and looking forward to get back with new idea and some creative items after all.
Miss you all and wish you well. See you soon.
*hugs*
Rachel :)

I guess all of us reach a stage where we feel out of ideas, not wanting to continue, or just in need for a break from our beloved hobbies! But I think if it´s something you really love...it will all come back to you!
So; keep up your beautiful work, we all love it :D!!!

don't stress on it! we all go through this. Sometimes I don;t do minis for weeks on end--I carve or quilt or something. But there is something so fascinating about teensy little things that I am always drawn back. And you will be too!

Oh no I know how you feel! This used to happen to me halfway between crocheting and knitting projects that I have so many half projects lying around! And it doesn't happen as much with me to clay but I do have a lot of half done miniatures around. I think maybe taking a break will help?
You make such wonderful things <3

Good for you, that is the very best thing you can do!!! Especially with your work too. I can't tell you how often I have had to do that. It is so good to give yourself the freedom to be creative!!
Hi Rachel,
today I discovered your blog. I hope that everything is well with you. Since it's been a while you had your last post.
I enjoy your creations very much.
Having a burnout means a lot of recovery.
It happens to me a few years ago. I had to learn a lot of myself.
But, going trough the process, I can see that now I'm living much happier.
And... God has shown His love and grace to me. I always thought that I had to be great and be the best in everything. He let me know that He loves me just te way I am. When I really understand that truth, there was a big change in my life. And on a sunday, totally uninspected, He healed my heart from a lot of pain.
