'Take Home'

Wanna take home? You'll get it right away! *pack* *pack* *pack* Here you go! :)

You know that I'm not good at paper-box things. I tried to make different kind of box from tutorials with techniques just wanted to make mini-box for my mini-bakeries and chocolates. It just seemed like box making is not for me... This one is my latest try, quite happy with the result though but there are things to be corrected and improved. I'm not yet giving up! ;)

Butter Cookie

Sunday! What to do this on this Sunday? Still cold and freezing? Let's bake some cookies! :)

I like many kind of cookie, but my forever favorite is butter cookie. So, let's bake some! :D

This time I tried circular prep. board for the cookie, doesn't look bad to me. I also tried making spilled egg on the prep. board. lol I will try again for my next egg-related prep. board. ;)

Hot Pot-Bread...

What else is better than fresh baked bread in these cold, freezing days?

Fresh baked grandma's recipe sun dried tomato pot-bread with Italian pesto and hot tea will warm you up. *^^*

What kind of pesto do you like? For me, I vote for traditional basil pesto
. :D

Do you smell the fresh baked bread? They are ready! Don't forget to bring some butter on the way and we can start our day out! ;)

Spice Up Your Life!

Thinking of food set as combination between flower and fruit and edible things and eye consumable. I, in general, like colorful mini-food. Together with chocolate, color of other food are brighter and that make the food 'colorful' and 'spicy' for eyes. Soft, pastel color are warm and sweet. *^^*

Sweet/dessert and bakery making sites are my real inspiration and other mini-artisans' works spiced up my mini-making eagerness yet... I'm a bit too lazy after these holiday and vacation. *blush*

Freshly Baked...

What would you like to eat after Christmas and New Year food? Something a bit different, tasty and yum? :) I do agree!

Here I made a new food prep board, chicken curry puff. You can add other ingredient(s) as you like to make the puff tasty or spicy. I kinda like mild taste of chicken curry puff and not so spicy. Hmmmm... ;)

One thing I like about making miniature is to make something new even if often that I came up with totally no idea about what to make. I may like things and want to make what other miniature artisan(s) made but, to give respect to friends who are in the same field of 'work' I try not to do so. And try new things bring me great fun and good feeling.

I'm back! :)

Surprise!

Happy Belated New Year! :)

I got a surprise sign-in to my blog today, a new blog award from Chris V. Thank you! :)

I have to admit that I can't get 15 blogs to pass this award to so, I decided to pass it to some blogs I know and think they will be useful for those who interest in miniatures, making and collecting. Some blogs can inspire you on making pretty things, some are with useful information, tutorials and such. Here are blogs I selected:

One-Of-a-Kind Clay by Cre8
Petitplat by Sk
Polymeri Online - Iris Mishly Polymer Clay Blog
Little Treasures by Christel Jensen
Kay's K9s...& Kritters

Please visit Chris's blog for more detail on the award.

*hugs*
Rachel :)
